We will be playing the Abominables in the first round. we played them in the last game of the regular season. Does anyone want to chime in with tendencies we need to be aware of?

I know that they spent most of their energy in the first 10 minutes. After that, we controlled play. If we can play smart in the beginning, they'll be spent.

Note: They did come on very strong in the final 5 minutes. This is the team that does have a history of coming back on us.

agreed...we kept waiting for them to tire and they actually outplayed is in the last period. We have to jump out fast and play disciplined hockey at the end.

Their goalie, Bob, is good but struggles going side to side and struggles with shots just over his pad height, so make him move and rip it 2 feet off the ground.

Shoot alot, too, he's older and will tire out eventually, like our goalie!

I think what pole man said is right, play diciplined and responsible. Tire them out. Trigg is right too, throw alot of pucks at the goalie. Just play smart. Get used to it for next year
