Good game guys, next week I will bring something to record the goals and such on, but until then let me know your goals.

I thought we played a great game last night. Everyone stepped up and played well. We did a great job skating with the puck and we made smart passes. Good way to start the season without our former top 4. The games will definitely get tougher after this one, but if we play the same way as last night and Marty is able to take shifts longer than 30 seconds, we'll be fine.

By the way...the second goal went to that new guy who was friends with the 4 guys who left our team. I think they called him Gomber...or something like that.

I was kind of impressed with Bill Walker..When after the first couple shifts, he says something about doing short shifts because his leg was really bothering him, and then by the end of the game,he is double shifting at wing and center. The Loratabs must not have kicked in as fast as he though they would.

Give a guy a break Tim, it has been 15 years since I last played hockey and a new pair of blades to boot. Your tougher then Don Cherry.

That was a compliment Marty. You did more in your 30 second shifts than I did in my 4 minute shifts. Thanks for the Don Cherry compliment.

Tim, you're wrong about that. Marty does more in 30 seconds than you in your 6 minute shifts!

WHen did Tim cut his shifts to 6 mins?

I knew my shifts were a little long when the ref told me I was on the ice more than him.

BTW, I see Balkon is using one of his patient's "After" pictures for his Avatar.

Speaking of refs, that half ass attitude those guys gave us sunday night pisses me off. Not blowing the whistle before they drop the puck, that attitude they give us when the know they just dont make a call, running the clock out. I know its not the Stanley cup finals, but damnit we spend alot of money to play there.

agree...it seems the younger they are the more they tend to call the game that way. Hopefully we won't get that duo again.

I was going to be at the game to take down stats but I had to take my son to the hospital. I'll try to make as many games as possible so the stats will be kept correctly.

Yes Chris, Amanda scored the game and it was everything you thought it would be. I dunno what was funnier, everyone trying to skate all good when they went past the scoring box but ultimately falling, or everyone talking bout how she smiled when they skated by.

Hell for 2 shifts Walker didnt even go out with his stick.

A couple minutes with that would kill me. Probably have to start calling me "two stoke".
