What time do we need to be getting to the rink? Do we get a few mins to skate and warm up or is it take the ice and play?

Be dressed and ready to take the ice at least 10-15 minutes early...especially if we have the first game of the evening.

First game tonight at 7:40 pm on Rink A vs. Beginners Luck. I would suggest we be dressed and ready to take the ice no later than 7:20 pm

We have 1.5 hours of total ice time. We get a 7 minute warm-up (we are the first game so we might be able to get on a little earlier).
The 1st and 2nd periods will be 25-30 minutes and the 3rd period will be adjusted depending on how much time is left.

Assuming we have all 14 skaters, we'll run 9 forwards and 5 defensemen. We'll roll lines during full strength, power play and penalty kill. We don't need a power play or penalty kill unit. We need to determine the 5 defensive guys before the game starts. On the offensive side, we will probably want to determine who the centers and wings will be before the game starts.
