Game 8 v. The Good Googly Mooglys

Our next game is this Friday at 8:40pm vs. Googly Mooglys.
I will not be able to make this game and we'll also be missing Radio Jim and Chris Polman. I'm not sure our sub will be available. Let me know if anyone else won't be there.
Alex will be the Captain, so make sure you pay no attention to anything he says, as you do with me.

Since time and Polman will both be out up front here's what I think.

Ed needs to move over to wing and let Chris Brady move to center, leaving Alex and Brady as the centers to double shift for Tim. Brady has been wanting to move over to center anyway which is more what he's used to playing.

If those two get winded, Ed can slide back over to wing.

I also think this gives Ed more of a chance to use his speed to generate offensively.

Because we are missing some defense, I think the forwards really need to help out in our zone. In the last game, the Moos did alot of dump and chase and it was usually 1 of our d against 3 of their forwards.

This is not directed towards anyone in particular, but I noticed sometimes all 3 of our forwards would be hanging out at the redline instead coming back for the outlet pass. This saves the d men from having to skate it all the way out of the zone and possible losing possesion of the puck deep in our zone,or having to make a long cross ice pass that is just as dangerous.
